PARTICIPANT AGREEMENT

By registering to participate, I agree to the terms of this agreement and the RULES.

1. Official registrant (hosts) must be 18 years or older. Children are encouraged to participate in the event with registrants.
2. The first 20 registrants will be entered in a raffle to win one of 2 LEGO Advent calendars. The raffle will be held/recorded at 3837 Altamont Drive as soon as 20 hosts have registered. Winners will be announced via the Facebook event page and phone/email.
3. The first 50 registrants will receive a Host Swag Bag, which can be picked up 12/16-12/17/2021 at WaFd Bank South 6th Street, Klamath Falls, OR 97603
4. Game format and fees are at the discretion of the registrant/host
5. Registrants may host any number of game nights  through 1/2/2022
6. Registrants may post one photo per game night to the event Facebook page. By submitting photos to the event page, registrants grant permission to Friends of the Children to use and share the photos.
7. Voting on ugly sweater photos posted to the Facebook event page will occur 1/3/2022 via "likes"
8. To be eligible for the "Ugly Sweater" prize, registrants must post a (family-friendly) photo of their Game Night to the Facebook event page by 1/3/2022 and may submit one photo per Game Night party
9. To be eligible for the "Host with the Most" prize, registrants must report the number of game nights held by 1/3/2022 by emailing klamathuglysweater@gmail.com. The prize contains alcohol and must be accepted by someone aged 21 or older.
10. To be eligible for the "Holiday Haul" prize, registrants must donate game proceeds to Friends of the Children - Klamath Basin by 1/4/2022. Proceeds can be mailed to 3837 Altamont Drive, Klamath Falls, OR 97603, or sent via the Donate button on the event page.
11. Friends of the Children - Klamath Basin will announce prize winners 1/5/2022 via the Facebook event page and via the phone number provided in registration information.
12. Registrants and their guests will undertake Ugly Sweater activities at their own risk and are responsible for their own insurance coverage in the event of personal injury as a result of participation in event activities. Where you have registered or entered on behalf of anyone (including Registrants under the age of 18), you HEREBY WAIVE, RELEASE, COVENANT NOT TO SUE AND FOREVER DISCHARGE FRIENDS OF THE CHILDREN, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS, AND ANY OTHER PERSOR OR ENTITY ASSOCIATED WITH THE EVENT,FOR ALL LIABILITIES, CLAIMS, ACTIONS, OR DAMAGES THAT YOU MAY HAVE AGAINST THEM ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH YOUR REGISTRATION AND/OR PARTICIPATION IN THE EVENT, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY LIABILITIES, CLAIMS, ATTORNEY’S FEES, ACTIONS, OR DAMAGES CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE OF THE ABOVE PARTIES (INCLUDING ANY NEGLIGENT RESCUE ATTEMPT), THE ACTION OR INACTION OF ANY OF THE ABOVE PARTIES, OR OTHERWISE.
13. Friends of the Children shall not be held responsible for technical errors in telecommunication networks, internet access, or otherwise.
14. Any disputes will be resolved by the Friends of the Children - Klamath Basin Executive Board and their decision is final and binding.
15. Friends of the Children - Klamath Basin is a 501c3 and donations may be tax deductible to the extent allowed by law (please consult your tax advisor).
